In April, 2019, the Idaho Commission on the Arts sponsored a gathering for women Western gear makers and artists in Idaho. From that meeting came Idaho Cowgirl Congress, now known as Women's Western Arts Association, a group of women dedicated to promoting and mentoring one another in producing the highest-quality Western gear and art.
